The Saratoga Chrysler Jeep Dodge 13 year old Babe Ruth team from Wilton advanced to the Championship game Saturday June 28th against the undefeated Elks team from Saratoga. The Wilton team found themselves in a first inning 4-0 hole but was able to rebound with 6 innings of strong defense to keep the game close. Wilton hit the ball all game and played tough to the end, but had a tough time finding the holes and lost 5-2 to finish in second place for the 2008 season. The offense was led with key singles by Brian Halligan and Andrew Farrell. Wilton had good defensive efforts in the field by Alex Dimauro and Cody Lane. Connor Reale threw 4 strong innings and Brian Halligan pitched 3 in relief.
