Saratoga Babe Ruth Spring 2012 Registration Has Started! The Registration deadline is March 31, 2012.
Saratoga Babe Ruth is a recreation baseball league for students between the ages of 13 and 18, as of April 30, 2012, who reside in the Saratoga,
Schuylerville, South Glens Falls, and Corinth school districts. The goal of
Saratoga Babe Ruth is to provide a recreation baseball league for the baseball players of our area who have graduated from the local Little League and
Cal Ripken organizations. The tentative plan is to have a 14 game season running from April 28th through June 17 and the registration cost is $125 per player.
$25 of that registration fee is for a book of 5 raffle tickets that the player can sell.
If the player sells all 5 raffle tickets for $5 each, he will have lowered his cost to $100 to play Babe Ruth baseball.
New for 2012 - The 13 and 14-15 year old divisions are being combined to create a larger league (13-15) with teams as balanced among each age group as possible.
The emphasis is that this is a recreational league and teams in it will not be playing against independent travel teams.
